What is the difference between the USB and digital version of MeMoves?
The digital version of MeMoves is a license that expires two years from when the content is purchased. The content on the MeMoves USB never expires.
The digital version of MeMoves stays on one device (where it is downloaded), whereas the MeMoves USB can easily travel between classrooms, schools and devices. Of note, the content on the MeMoves USB never leaves the USB .
What’s the difference between the “Home” and “School/Institutional” version of MeMoves?
The content on the “Home” and “School/Institutional” is the exact same. However, the “school” version expires after two years (the home version does not) and the “school” version can only be downloaded onto one device, where the “Home” version can be shared on up to three devices.
What if my school is getting new computers? Can I transfer the digital version of MeMoves to the new device?
It is very easy to transfer your digital version of MeMoves to a different device. In the flux player, click on the “Account” tab. You will be given the option to “deauthorize” your content. Once “deauthorized”, you can reload MeMoves (using your username and password) onto the new device. Of note – there is an 11 hour waiting period from the time MeMoves is deauthorized on one device before it can be loaded onto a new device.
Why can’t my school buy the DVD?
Technology in schools is rapidly evolving. Like CD Players in cars, the DVD player is no longer provided in new computers/tablets. School districts experienced considerable challenges with the MeMoves DVD when they upgraded equipment, and had to repurchase the digital version or MeMoves USB. To eliminate this expensive issue, the DVD is no longer offered to schools.
